The Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa’s La Jolla Ballroom and Pre-Function space was taken to the next level by a full renovation completed in December 2013. By modifying an existing perimeter pre-function wall to allow for a new operable paneled partition wall, the La Jolla Ballroom is now much more versatile and can be configured for larger events and accommodate up to 420 guests.

The project included major upgrades to the lighting, custom-designed decor and furnishings throughout the main ballroom and pre-function areas. The walnut flooring in the pre-function area, custom-woven wool carpets from England, and spectacular wrought iron chandeliers specially fabricated by local artisans transformed the space. The construction was completed in a three week duration and the project finished on schedule and under budget.

In 2016, Tg managed the renovation of a portion of the Estancia La Jolla Resort & Spa lobby into Blend, a casual breakfast and lunch spot. The hotel now offers its guests a full service coffee bar experience adjacent to the registration desk. An existing meeting room space was transformed with new custom finishes and furnishings that complement the hotel’s existing hacienda style. Blend includes indoor and outdoor seating, and offer beverages, food, wine by the glass and sundries.
